Have you been wondering what WOB does and how we might be able to help you?

The Women on Boards team invite you to join us to find out about all things WOB during an informal and fact filled information evening.  Designed as a taster for those of you who may not have attended an event before, the evening will be a great way to gain an idea of what Women on Boards does and how we can assist you - wherever you are in your boardroom journey.

This is a great opportunity for you to meet the Directors of Women on Boards UK and other members of the unique WOB network, from across sectors and industries.

You are welcome to arrive from 6pm and there will be a 30 minute presentation at 6:30pm covering everything you might want to know about what Women on Boards does and most importantly, how we can help you with your board aspirations.  This will be followed by Q&A and the evening will conclude with time for relaxed conversation and any follow up questions over a glass of wine and nibbles.

Please note if you wish to bring a guest along, register your guest  and they can attend for free.

Fiona Hathorn, Managing Director, Women on Boards UK

Director responsible for Pension Fund asset allocation for Old Mutual Asset Management's Employee Pension Fund.  Alongside running Women on Boards UK Fiona advises the stockbroker Peel Hunt and is a Judge for the Non Executive Director Awards, sponsored by The Sunday Times.

"What a wonderful event last night.  Thank you for inviting me.  I am definitely signing up – I think what you and the team are doing is terrific. For me personally, I have been thinking for a while about exploring a Trustee position on a UK Charity or an NED for a Public Sector Board – so last night was perfect timing"

"One thing that struck me..was how welcoming and open the atmosphere was, it gave me huge comfort that I chose the right network to support me. "

With thanks to our event hosts, Simply Business
