AIC - Introduction to the role of an investment company NED
An independent board is a feature that sets investment companies apart from their competitors in the funds world and is one of its greatest assets. However, with the rapid pace of change within financial services, and the current focus on board diversity of all types, it is more important than ever to ensure a strong pipeline of candidates with a range of relevant skills and experience willing to take on non-executive positions.
The purpose of this event is to give senior/board ready individuals who may not already be involved in the industry, an insight into the investment company sector and the role of an NED.
Who should attend?
This seminar is aimed at senior level individuals who may be considering a non-executive role at some point in the next few years. The content has been specifically designed for those who currently have little or no previous experience of the investment company sector and what a nonexecutive role would involve.
