INSEAD International Directors Programme
The International Directors Programme is INSEADs flagship course in corporate governance and is a unique educational experience that aims to develop effective directors for the global business scene. Women on Boards is proud to be partnering with INSEAD to promote this 3-module programme, which is offered in both Fontainebleau, France and in Singapore.
Mary Sue Rogers, a WOB member and a NED of WOB Australia is an alumna of the programme and would be happy to speak to anyone who is seriously considering enrolling. Fiona Hathorn is currently on the Programme and is also happy to talk to members about its content to ensure it is a good 'fit' for you and your board objectives. Gain the critical leadership capabilities to get to the top of the corporate ladder, with Professor Veronica Hope Hailey, world authority on leadership.
Today's business environment has never been more challenging for women in senior leadership roles. Working with other senior women leaders, you will learn how to leverage your personal leadership style, overcome the barriers to success and develop your career in times of change.
The programme is led by Professor Veronica Hope Hailey, Dean of Bath's School of Management and world authority on leadership and trust. The programme is for today's female executives and those who aspire to leadership roles in both the public and private sector. It has been designed as 5 x one-day modules, with pre-work and inter-module work included. Participants will need to attend all five modules. The core content includes:
- What is a leader?
- Values, aspirations and understanding your personal leadership style
- Emotional intelligence and trust leadership
- Small change, big impact
- Power, politics, and networking
- Culture, unconscious bias and damaging beliefs
- How to build coalitions, develop networks and make lasting connections
- Presence, influencing skills and building resilience
- Dealing with barriers
- Career progression – what do I need to do?
Dates - this five-day programme is split across two weeks. Participants are expected to attend all five days. Commencing 19-20 September 2018 (days 1-2) followed by 16-18 October 2018 (days 3-5)
Location - the programme is run at University of Bath in London, 83 Pall Mall.

2018 Natwest everywoman Awards
Now in its 16th year, the NatWest everywoman Awards will once again celebrate the success of Britain’s top female entrepreneurs at all stages of their journey – from young businesses to those who have established multi-million pound organisations.
