INSEAD International Directors Programme

The International Directors Programme is INSEADs flagship course in corporate governance and is a unique educational experience that aims to develop effective directors for the global business scene.  Women on Boards is proud to be partnering with INSEAD to promote this 3-module programme, which is offered in both Fontainebleau, France and in Singapore.

Mary Sue Rogers, a WOB member and a NED of WOB Australia is an alumna of the programme and would be happy to speak to anyone who is seriously considering enrolling.  Fiona Hathorn is currently on the Programme and is also happy to talk to members about its content to ensure it is a good 'fit' for you and your board objectives. If you do enrol, please ensure that you mention that you heard about the programme through WOB. To connect with WOB for more information just email fiona.hathorn@womenonboards.co.uk

Mary Sue discusses INSEAD’s partnership with WOB, on this Insead website link, and explains how the programme helped her become a more effective director.

Dates: now enrolling 2019 modules
Cost: ~Euro 17,750

city womens network - primal play with darryl edwards

CWN is very pleased to invite you to an exciting talk and workshop about Primal Play with Darryl Edwards at the Free Word theatre and hall in Farringdon, on Tuesday 21st May.

The evening will open with Darryl’s talk about his background, the transformation of his earlier career as a programmer in the City and the principals of his approach. Darryl’s work to change lives through the power of play has also resulted in a recent TEDx talk, as well as talks to Harvard Medical School, three books and an academic paper.

We’ll then transition to a highly active and fun workshop based on Darryl’s 'Primal Play' method. We will engage in an evening of novel games and activities to help us reconnect with our inner child and to fall in love with movement again. It will involve solo, partner and group-based challenges that are collaborative and competitive - great for the mind and body - but most importantly are a whole lot of fun!

The activities are designed to be inclusive and accessible for all ages and abilities. Comfortable clothing and footwear advised, even a change of clothes if you wish.

Afterwards, refreshments will be provided along with ample opportunity to network with other CWN members and guests. Women on Boards members are offered a special rate of £30 per ticket. To claim this offer simply email admin@citywomen.org.
