Gaenor Bagley, Portfolio NED
Following a 30 year career in professional services, where she held a variety of leadership positions at PwC including at board level, Gaenor now has a portfolio of non-executive director roles. Her current roles include
- Non-executive board member, Foreign and Commonwealth Office
- External member of remuneration committee, Cambridge University
- Non-executive director of the Royal Surrey County Hospital, NHS Foundation trust
- Non-executive director and chair designate at TKAT Multi Academy Trust
- Chair of Chartered Management Consultant Oversight Board.
Most of Gaenor’s professional career has been as an M&A tax advisor with PwC, where her principal clients were Private Equity funds. She held a variety of leadership roles whilst at PwC including head of corporate purpose, UK board member responsible for HR and CSR and global leader, learning and development.
Kelly Tolhurst, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
Minister with responsibility for corporate governance at the Dept for Business and Industrial Strategy, Kelly will share the government view on the Public Appointments process.
Kelly Tolhurst was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy on 19 July 2018. She was previously a Government Whip, PPS to the Secretary of State for Business Greg Clark MP and PPS to the former DfID Secretary of State Priti Patel.
Kelly was born and raised in Rochester and went into work from school, eventually making a career in marketing. From 2008 Kelly ran her own small business, a marine surveying company, called Tolhurst Associates. Prior to her election Kelly was formerly a councillor in Medway Council, latterly holding the brief for Educational Attainment and Improvement.
She has been the Member of Parliament for Rochester and Strood since the May 2015 general election, defeating UKIP MP Mark Reckless having lost the preceding by-election in 2014.
