Have you ever thought about joining the board of an organisation in the healthcare sector? This sector is vast and broadly covers the provision of healthcare services, medical equipment, health insurance through to managed care. All organisations providing these services whether they are publicly funded, private operators or voluntary led are accountable to their stakeholders and will often be held under close scrutiny. If you are considering joining an NHS hospital governing body, a clinical commissioning group board of directors or becoming a trustee of a not for profit organisation supporting medical care, this could be an interesting event for you. Come along and listen to some interesting journeys to the healthcare boardroom and enjoy a glass of wine with fellow members of the Women on Boards UK network.
