Superannuation Funds

Superannution funds were traditionally a poor performer when it came to gender balanced trustees. As of 2016, the sector had fewer than 30% female directors, an issue that has been taken up by the sector representative bodies, such as AIAST and ASFA. 

2020

The superannuation sector has jumped nearly 8% in its gender balance on boards since 2016 - up from 29.6% to 37.5%. Only the corporate funds continue to lage, with all others well above 35%. Details are below.
