Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Boards

Each health profession that is part of the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme is represented by a National Board. While the primary role of the Boards is to protect the public, the Boards are also responsible for registering practitioners and students, as well as other functions, for their professions. There are 15 National Boards.

2020

The only sector where the representation of women on boards has exceeded 60% and the gender balance could be redressed in the favour of men.  All entities have at least 40% female members and are known for actively posting on Women on Boards.
