Women on Boards welcomes new corporate member FTI Consulting

Women on Boards is pleased to welcome its newest Corporate Member, independent global advisory firm FTI Consulting.

FTI Consulting is dedicated to helping organisations manage change, mitigate risk and resolve disputes: financial, legal, operational, political & regulatory, reputational and transactional.

“At FTI Consulting, we are committed to embracing, cultivating and maintaining a culture of diversity, inclusion & belonging, as it is fundamental to our core values,”  said Kelly Trenfield, Senior Managing Director.

FTI Consulting’s global women’s initiative, FTI WIN, offers career training, professional development, mentorship, networking and community outreach opportunities across the globe to empower their female professionals to reach their highest potential and develop best-in-class leadership capabilities. The FTI WIN team in Australia supports causes including Dress for Success, Share the Dignity, The Forgotten Women, 4 Voices and Small Steps 4 Hannah.

“The core focus of our FTI WIN initiative aligns closely with that of WOB – to empower and provide career and leadership opportunities for women,” said Kelly.

“We saw the opportunities provided through WOB Corporate Membership including professional development, educational and networking opportunities.

“FTI WIN’s goal is to attract, develop and retain high-performing women and we see a corporate membership of WOB supports those ideals by providing our female leaders the opportunity for continued development and the expansion of their network.

“We are also hopeful of the opportunity for FTI Consulting, through its members, to give back to the WOB community through thought leadership and ongoing engagement."

This September, eight Brisbane FTI WIN members will participate in The Forgotten Women’s Live Like Her Challenge in honour of women over 55 facing hardship. They will spend the night sleeping in their cars to show their support and generate funds for the cause.
