Women going backwards at the top of corporate Australia

11/09/2019

Claire Braund talks to Fiona Ellis-Jones on ABC News Radio about a new report that shows the number of female CEOs running Australia's largest companies actually went backwards last year.

The Chief Executive Women ASX200 Senior Executive Census 2019 shows just six per cent of Australia's top listed companies have a woman chief executive, a drop from seven per cent last year.

Claire discusses how it's difficult to put a quota on CEO gender, but how leading companeis are putting gender quotas in other areas to set themself up for success, including their Boards, executive teams and their graduates.
