WOB welcomes Kylah Morrison

Women on Boards warmly welcomes Kylah Morrison to the team, our new Western Australian representative. 
 

Kylah is an experienced board member, multi-award winning leader and graduate of AICD.
 
She has over 14 years’ experience working in private companies in the oil & gas industry, indigenous organisations, not-for-profits, and start-ups. From 2016 to 2019 Kylah championed regional economic development as the President, then CEO of the local Chamber of Commerce, and Founding Chairperson of the Pilbara Universities Centre.
 
Cutting her teeth on the rigs in north west Australia, Kylah is no stranger to leading under pressure. Leadership development and team building workshops facilitated by Kylah are hands on and unorthodox, getting her clients stuck into model making with lego, finger painting and activities to connect with their ‘why’.
 
Living and working for nine years in Karratha, Kylah has a deep understanding of risks and challenges experienced by corporates, government, local businesses and indigenous organisations operating in remote and regional Australia, particularly in North Western Australia.
 
Kylah is currently the General Manager for Western Australia & South Australia for METS Ignited and Non-Executive Director for Province Resources who have the HyEnergy Project is a potential 'Renewable Green Hydrogen Project' that is located in Western Australia's Gascoyne Region.
 
Kylah is the co-host of the podcast Real Women in Leadership with Communications Expert Violet Dhu. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion, indigenous affairs, corporate governance and sustainability.
