Claire Braund, said the program will provide training and support for women and men with disability or who are Deaf from NSW and the ACT to understand more about engaging with boards, as well as developing skills to become board and/or committee members and contribute to advisory panels.
She said WOB is delighted to be working with Accessible Arts and is also exploring opportunities to improve opportunities for WOB members serving on boards to better understand this disability sector as a key stakeholder group.
