The exclusive virtual presentation will feature an in-depth interview with Governor Bullock, the ninth Governor of RBA and first woman to lead the RBA in its 63-year history.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is ‘Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress’, based on the priority theme for the United Nations 68th Commission on the Status of Women, exploring the pathways to greater economic inclusion for women and girls everywhere.
In addition to Governor Bullock's national conversation, UN Women Australia will be unveiling an inspiring line-up of speakers over the coming weeks across Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth, as well as a live virtual stream of all events on Friday, 8 March 2024.

Michele Bullock started as Governor of RBA on 18 September 2023. She is Chair of the Reserve Bank Board, Payments System Board and Council of Financial Regulators. Prior to her current role, Ms Bullock was the Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia.Ms Bullock has also held a variety of senior management positions in the Bank. She was Assistant Governor (Financial System), Assistant Governor (Business Services), Assistant Governor (Currency), Adviser for the Currency Group and, before that, Head of Payments Policy Department.
