Founding board for March4Justice

Women on Boards has been approached by March4Justice to assist its search for three Non-Executive Directors to join its newly formed organisation.

 

WOB Executive Chair, Ruth Medd, has taken the assignment and will pull a list of candidates together who have strong experience in one or more of the following areas:

  1. Fundraising
  2. Human resource management
  3. Government engagement
  4. Diversity and gender equality policy and/or practice

In addition to the above, key to the role will be your knowledge or understanding of governance principles, including a Board director’s legal, ethical, fiduciary and financial responsibilities.

March4Justice came into being when 110,000 people gathered on 15 March to protest gendered violence. It was founded by accidental activist, Janine Hendry, a mother, an academic, creator, strategist, philanthropist, entrepreneur and now the spokesperson for March4Justice.
