Tracey’s executive career started in Sydney with the Reserve Bank of Australia after graduating from The University of Western Australia. Upon completing her MBA at Stanford University in California, Tracey spent several years in the U.S. working for the international management consulting firm, Bain & Company, providing strategic advice to international clients in the technology, retail, healthcare and utility sectors. Tracey returned to Perth in 2000, focusing on clients in the utility and resources sectors. After a stint advising the Vice Chancellor at the University of Western Australia, Tracey was appointed Dean of the UWA Business School from mid-2004 to August 2011, when she was awarded the life-time title of Emeritus Professor in recognition of her outstanding service to the University.
Tracey has sought opportunities to contribute to the communities in which she lives through roles such as Chair of Council at Presbyterian Ladies’ College, President of CCI (WA) and a Commissioner of Tourism WA.
Tracey was recognised for distinguished service to business and business education and appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2017.
