Helen Wiseman is a seasoned board Chair and Non-Executive Director, recognized for her expertise in audit committees across listed (JSE, ASX) and unlisted multinational groups. Holding dual UK and Australian citizenships, Helen's professional influence extends globally, with a diverse industry background encompassing food, pharmaceuticals, professional services, as well as mining and energy sectors.

With a previous role as a partner at KPMG, Helen boasts credentials as a Chartered Accountant and certified Director from both INSEAD and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Her extensive repertoire includes proficiency in finance, risk oversight, governance, and an intricate understanding of growth enterprises, mergers and acquisitions, capital mobilization, transformation endeavors, and turnarounds. Furthermore, she has amassed insights into the realm of ESG through her active involvement in the Bid Corporation Social and Ethics Committee.

Approaching audit committee responsibilities with a strategic and pragmatic mindset, Helen's deep comprehension of business operations and her remarkable emotional intelligence serve as foundational assets. Her educational accomplishments also comprise the completion of the INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance and Leading from the Chair programs in 2019. Notably, Helen's leadership acumen has led her to the esteemed role of President within the INSEAD International Directors Network (IDN), an INSEAD Global Alumni Club. Her dedication is evident through her consistent facilitation of the IDN global director mentoring initiative over the past three years. 

Drawing from her 15-year tenure as a facilitator, mentor, and coach to CEOs and senior executives, Helen has earned recognition as an ICF Professional Certified Coach and former counselor. She offers a valuable external perspective for decision-makers, driving transformative agendas. Her Gallup Clifton strengths in Strategic, Ideation, Maximiser, Futuristic, and Learner attributes enhance her ability to navigate intricate stakeholder landscapes. Whether in high-stakes scenarios or during times of turnaround, Helen remains a composed thinker, adept at swift assessments within ambiguous and rapidly changing environments. 

Beyond her professional commitments, Helen's commitment to the charity SHINE for Kids since 2004 underscores her deep passion for supporting children with incarcerated parents. Her remarkable journey includes being honored as a 2014 Australian Financial Review and Westpac 100 Women of Influence. Helen's distinctive career trajectory not only embodies her zest for global exploration but also her dedication to nurturing others' development. Known for her vibrant energy, sense of humor, and appreciation for wine, she leaves an indelible mark in various spheres of her life.
