Jane Lloyd is an independent non-executive director with particular interest in governance, leadership and ESG. Her current portfolio of listed, unlisted and industry boards are in the property sector and she formerly served on the boards of Habilis Housing and Bondi Icebergs.
Jane has deep expertise in the Australian and international property markets across retail, industrial, commercial, and residential sectors. She started her career at Lendlease in 1990 before joining Dexus in 2001 where she held development and asset management roles, including Head of Retail for Dexus’s $3.5 billion retail portfolio and Managing Director of US Investments based in Southern California. It was here that Ms Lloyd led the team that established Dexus’s presence in the US by assembling the team and restructuring the portfolio.
Following her US experience Jane took a career break travelling and ticking off some bucket list items including serving as a volunteer for Obama for America in 2012.
In 2013 Jane joined Stockland where she led the development and design team for the commercial property division where she was responsible for Stockland’s $1.5 billion retail development pipeline.
Since 2015, Ms Lloyd has split her time between her NED roles and consulting through her company, Third Shift Enterprises.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Town Planning (Hons)(UNSW), a Master of Business Administration (AGSM), and a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.
