Join us at WOBMeet Melbourne. An evening for all aspiring leaders and directors who are full members of WOB to meet, share, network and learn.

More about this event

WOBMeet Melbourne is held bi-monthly for our members to meet or reconnect, share knowledge & information and practice their all important 'elevator pitch' ……over a friendly drink. The atmosphere will be informal, relaxed and supportive.

Now we know that women are busy and it’s hard to find time, so we’ve developed a swift yet relaxed format that will start and finish on time and provide opportunities to meet other women in the WOB network.

All we ask is that you come with an open mind, preparedness to mingle and a touch of dazzle!

Timing is everything …

5.30pm  First drinks
6.00pm  Welcome
6.05pm Guest speaker – all your questions answered
6.35pm Facilitated networking
6.50pm Relaxed networking
7.30pm sharp Homeward bound

Formalities kick off  5.30pm sharp. Price includes one drink on arrival + light finger food. Following your first drink, drinks are available at bar prices.

Guest Speaker - Mariette Rups-Donnelly

Great presenters recognise that the combination of solid information and outstanding delivery skills create memorable presentations that get results.

If you want to position yourself as a leader, if you want to inspire, motivate, challenge and excite your listeners, if you want them to take action after hearing you speak, then you need the presence to immediately grab their attention and the ability to connect to them intellectually and emotionally.

The skills that actors learn as part of their training are invaluable to you.

You see, it's all performance, as long as it is authentically you. - Mariette Rups-Donnelly
