Mentoring for Success

What do Julia Gillard AC, David Gonski AC and Mia Freedman have in common? Aside from their contributions to public life and professional success, each had a mentor to guide them to the top of their respective fields.

Many senior men and women attest to the importance of mentors to achieving professional success and personal satisfaction. Mentors allow you to tap into the experience of someone who has faced similar challenges or circumstances and provide a guiding hand to assist you to develop strategies to navigate your pathway. Many successful directors have mentors, many obtained through the WOB mentoring program.

In this live virtual workshop, Claire Braund and Ruth Jones (WOB's My Mentor Manager) will discuss how a mentor will support your journey to (and in) the boardroom.

PS. The mentors to Julia Gillard, David Gonski AC and Mia Freedman were Joan Kirner AC (dec), the Honourable Justice Kim Santow AO (dec) and Poppy King!
