Guest Speaker: Dr Rosalind Dubs

Dr Rosalind Dubs is a professional company director with deep expertise in the areas of defence, innovation and science. She chairs the Space Industry Innovation Council and is a Non Executive Director of ASC (Australia’s largest specialised defence shipbuilding organisation) and Aristocrat Leisure (ASX: ALL). She serves on the board of the Australian Centre for Innovation, ANU Enterprise Pty Ltd and Astronomy Australia Ltd and is a member of the NSW Innovation & Productivity Council.

Ros was formerly Deputy Vice Chancellor (External) at the University of Technology and on the boards of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering and the Taronga Conservation Society.

Ros’ career has spanned a range of industries in publicly listed, private and government companies; with extensive operational experience in the aviation, transport and engineering sectors, Ros managed large engineering businesses in Germany, France and Australia for Thales SA.  Having also worked in CSIRO and held leadership positions within universities, Ros devotes considerable effort to encouraging research-industry collaboration and promoting the economic benefit of women in senior business roles.
