Julie is an accomplished Non-Executive Director with a portfolio of governance and advisory board roles spanning large statutory authorities, member-based organisations and listed agribusiness. She is an experienced Audit and Risk Committee member and Chair. Current board roles include Exercise and Sports Science Australia, Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service and Australian Agricultural Company Scientific Advisory Board.
A former university executive and professor with an accounting and finance background, Julie brings experience in management and growth of commercial business units; international and government partnerships; research and education leadership; and formulating and executing strategy. She successfully combines academic rigour with commercial acumen.
Julie is a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Chartered Accountant, and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Julie holds a PhD in Commerce and has expertise in corporate reporting, agribusiness and sustainability strategy.
