With the easing of COVID restrictions we are happy to announce the return of our Clayton Utz partnered lunches. This lunch is an excellent opportunity to hear from Carmel Macmillan about the challenges and learning from her board journey, her tips for aspiring directors and opportunities as well as other current topical issues in her sector.

Carmel is an experienced Chair and non-executive director with extensive expertise in marketing and corporate strategy. Her board portfolio encompasses of national and state-based organisations in the fields of disabilities, health, commercial property, member-based and arts in commercial, family, social enterprise and not-for-profit structures.

Carmel adds value to organisations through business transformation (strategy, digital, innovation) while actively championing the client perspective within the Board environment. She provides fundraising and philanthropy insights to guide income diversification discussions.

Carmel has an extensive senior management executive career across FMCG, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness and gaming sectors. Held P & L responsibility with revenue delivered through various channels - retail, franchise, e-commerce and foodservice and led large teams through strategic and operational challenges, whilst delivering record revenue and profit growth. She is recognised for leadership in product and business innovation, compliance and strategic planning. Extensive experience in marketing and communication.
