Since leaving the role of Managing Director/CEO at the SMSF Association in 2017 Andrea has been building a non-executive director career. Her current directorships include AMP Limited, Clean Energy Finance Corporation, Argo Global Listed Infrastructure and the Woomera Prohibited Area Advisory Board. Andrea has been a Board Director for nearly 30 years including Centrepoint Alliance Ltd, SACA, Adelaide Oval Stadium Management, SMSF Association, Ladder Ltd and Adelaide University Centre of Excellence for Financial Services. She has also been on a significant number of Advisory Committees including the Australian Government’s Innovation and Investment Partnership, the Peak Superannuation Advisory Group and the Australian Treasury’s Industry Consensus Working Group.
Andrea, a visionary thinker offers compelling insights into corporate strategies, leadership, governance, government relations and cross industry transformation. In conjunction with her Board appointments and as a recognised Australian business leader and entrepreneur, she focuses on how businesses can most effectively engage with their customers and clients via multi-channel and new age service models.
Andrea has been described by the Prime Minister, the Treasurer, the Deputy Director of the Treasury and the Australian Tax Office Commissioner as one of the most influential players in superannuation and financial services. She has worked tirelessly building an SMSF profession and nurturing government and industry relationships to help generate retirement wealth for millions of Australians to enjoy a higher standard of living in retirement.
