Sally-Ann Hibberd has been appointed to FTSE Board Shawbrook Group plc. Sally-Anne is a long time WOB supporter, advocate and speaker. Sally-Ann adds this top position to her growing portfolio of positions.

Nuala Walsh, Head of Global Client Relations & Marketing, Standard Life Investments, has been appointed a Trustee of UN Women.

Suzanne Avery, Finance and Real Estate Executive, has joined the Board of A2 Dominion Residential Ltd and the Finance Committee of A2 Dominion Housing Group.

Jayne Styles, Chief Investment Officer, Amlin, has just been appointed to the FTSE Board, Hargreaves Lansdown as a Non Executive Director. Jayne has been a member of WOB for many years. She has attended workshops and a number of our Boardrooom Conversation events. Jayne has benefited from talking to other WOB members over the years and recently took up our offer of connection support prior to her successful FTSE board interview.

Anne Hastie, Partner, Alex Hastie & Co, has become Non Executive Director at the East Lothian Advice Consortium and a Consumer & Public Involvement Representative & Network Member at the British Standards Institute. She has also been successful in obtaining the roles of Vice Chair at Tyne Esk Leader Local Action Group and Chair of the Board of Trustees at Disability Information Scotland.

Linda Phillips, MM Global Strategy & Implementation Manager, Shell, has been appointed to the Innovation System Oversight Board at Cardiff University and has also become a member of the Governance Committee.

Sylvia Williams,Director, MDRC, has been appointed as Vice President of the Issue Management Council at the British Science Association. She has also served on the Business Development Committee since June 2015, a role that emerged after an interview for a WOB Vacancy. Prior to these appointments Sylvia attended a WOB Getting Started Workshop which gave her the confidence to broaden her search and write a board ready CV. She also benefited from speaking to a member of the WOB network prior to her interview.

Helen Haley, Director, Urbane Life Ltd, has joined the board of One Ark as Non-Executive Board Director. "Women on Boards have provided me with invaluable support. Karen Parker, Independent HR Consultant & Business Coach, has been appointed as a Trustee of the UN Women UK National Committee as well as becoming Chair of the Nominations Committee. Alicia Reyes Revuelta : Wells Fargo Securities - EMEA (Wells Fargo Securities International Ltd) posted a NED role on our website and interviewed a number of our candidates. WOB member Alicia was succesful. She says: “I got my first NED position thanks to WOB. Being relatively young and still quite active on my executive career I had not been offered any NED position that I considered exciting or challenging enough to make the big commitment that such responsibility entails.
