Corporate Foundation Sponsors and Supporters

Women on Boards is very grateful to our foundation sponsors; PwC, ICBC Standard Bank, Thomson Reuters and Berwin Leighton Paisner who help us ensure that we can offer high quality events at accessible prices. These organisations provide funding or regular venue space for WOB events.  These sponsors are also corporate members of WOB and therefore their employees enjoy full access to our WOB vacancy board and 1-to-1 support, for no charge. Our 1-to-1 support service makes us unique as an organisation - to learn more click on this network information link

Board Consultants & Executive recruiters

For a lot of entry-level board roles, executive recruiters (headhunters) may play little or no part in the process. These roles are typically either unpaid or command very low remuneration, so the expense of involving a professional recruiter is difficulty for boards to justify.  However as the importance of the board's role in effective governance is increasingly understood, we are seeing more and more appointments involve a recruitment firm and/or a board consultant in organisations in all sectors.  A number of firms now recognise the value of the role that WOB plays in supporting and preparing board candidates.  These companies are therefore prepared to play their part in supporting WOB UK financially.  Like our other corporate sponsors, this helps ensure that WOB can continue to grow the pool of female board candidates and increase the diversity of boards across the UK.
